Here are two awesome cards from Phantom Forces! The set is due to release late this year or early next year!
OH MY! I am absolutely estatic for these new cards I cannot wait for the release! These are the first ORAS cards released, and as you can see there is PRIMAL POKEMON!! The box comes out in November while the set comes out later on. There is some hype behind the tag team combo of Electivire and Magmortar, and I think they could be a force to reckon with. Electivire and Magmortar have complementary attacks that, when used correctly, can deal some intense damage. But before we dive deep into the mechanics on how to use the Bash Brothers, we need to point out some cards that would be vital in a Bash Brothers deck. First off and probably most obvious you need to use four Switches or Float Stones due to Electivire's attack doing more damage when Magmortar has energies attached to him. Since you do not wanna lose the energies attached to Magmortar, you need to retreat him when you accumulated enough energies on him for Electivire. Secondly, a combination of Blacksmith and Ultra Ball will be an incredibly easy way to get two energy on Magmortar and another Pokemon on your bench. If you use your Ultra Ball and discard two Fire Energy you can easily reattach them to a Magmar or Magmortar without any penalty of lost Fire Energies. Along side those two cards you can also use Energy Switch to move around energy cards to deal more damage. This way is effective so you do not need to have Magmortar in your active position and can have Electivire there causing damage. Some additional cards you can use are: Training Center, for a little more HP, Muscle Band for a little boost in damage, Dragonite EX, to move energies around in anyway you want, and Professor's Letter, so you can get out energy in a pinch. I have explained the basic plan of attack behind this deck, being power up Magmortar while Electivire is causing havoc upon your opponent. This deck will be incredibly easy to power up and cause damage to your opponent. Magmortar can be the main attacker of this deck, but his second attack is very expensive to power up; however, when powered up Magmortar can knock out almost anything in his way. I am going to put these in a list form to show what I pulled in an easier to see way. This will be a multiday post so check back for updates!! EX + Rares
Seismitoad EX and Aurorus are both new cards from the new set Furious Fists. Aurorus's ability Ice Shield can make Seismitoad EX a huge problem and almost impossible to deal with. A deck involving these two cards would be a 4-4 line with Aurorus, and 4 Seismitoads; Fossil Researcher would be a necessary in this deck to get Amaura on the bench. Seismitoad with a water energy attached to him and 4 Aurorus on the bench would give Seismitoad 260hp(counting the damage reduced, not actually that much hp). Another good card that would be in this deck would be Mountain Ring, so if and when you use Seismitoad's attack Grenade Hammer you will not do any damage to your benched Aurorus'. This deck could hold its own in a competitive setting due to its high damage capability.
OH MY! I am super excited for this booster set, these were just announced earlier today!! How excited are you guys?!
Card OverviewEevee is a basic Normal Type Pokemon with 50hp; Eevee has one attack and one ability, he also has a weakness to Fighting Type Pokemon and one retreat cost. Eevee's ability is very good, Energy Evolution lets you evolve Eevee when you play a basic energy on him, and you can search your deck for that card if you do not have it. Eevee's attack Gnaw does 10 damage for two colorless energy. Involving this Card
Overall RatingEevee in itself is not a very strong card; however, his ability makes up for this, Eevee is a 10 out of 10 in my opinion, because you have so many options with this card, it is almost impossible for your opponent to know what you will do with your Eevee. I only outlined one possibly straegy that you could use with Eevee, I know there are numerous more, proving even more that Eevee is a very versatile card.
